Why Is My Monero Wallet Sync Slow?

Common causes

Restore height set too early, overloaded remote node, unstable connection, or node timeouts.

Use a nearer restore height, switch to a healthier node, keep tab active during sync, retry after timeout.

If the process stalls repeatedly, restart restore with same seed and adjusted restore height.

Slow sync is usually performance-related, not a seed compromise. Never paste seed into random tools.
